We build Callbell as a global system that can be used in any country. This page states plainly what Callbell does and does not do.

A global system

Callbell runs in more than 10 languages with the same software everywhere in the world. Country-specific rules (tax rates, receipt and invoice formats, price display, allergen labelling, working-time records and so on) vary widely and change often. We may add country-specific configurations over time, but this can take a while, and full compliance is not guaranteed for any country.

Cash register and fiscal recording

Callbell is not a cash register, fiscal device or certified POS software and is not sold as one. Table bills, daily summaries and payment-method records are for internal tracking only. In countries with fiscal register rules, such as Germany (KassenSichV/TSE), France (NF525), Italy (RT), Austria (RKSV), Spain (Verifactu/TicketBAI) or Türkiye (ÖKC/e-Belge), always record your sales with a compliant, certified register. Whether or not your country has such rules, you decide how you use Callbell and the responsibility is yours.

Payments

Callbell does not collect payments, does not take card details and does not transfer money.

Inventory, costs and reports

Stock deductions, recipe costs, profit margins, expenses and business results are based on the data the business enters and are for information only. They do not replace accounting, tax returns or statutory books; ask your accountant about these.

Staff time clock

Time-clock records are for internal tracking. Legal duties for working-time records and payroll differ by country and remain the business's responsibility.

Responsibility

All legal obligations arising from the use of Callbell (tax, fiscal recording, consumer, food, labour, data protection and others) rest entirely with the business using the account. Callbell does not provide legal, financial or tax advice.
